You won't be sorry if you purchase them. It makes coffee very fast and it is really hot when done. This is the best coffee pot to own. It is very convenient for small amounts of coffee needed. I own Farberware coffee pots in all sizes for all occasions.
I ignored her request and shopped around and found this percolator highly recommended, so I bought one. My mother wanted a small electric percolator and requested Farberware by name. My mom was right again and she loves it.

Have owned this coffee pot for about a month. Coffee is hot and tastes decent.
The craftsmanship is obviously inferior to the percolator I owned for 20 years.
Compact, no parts to keep buying really delivers on taste especially if you grind your own beans. Plus it keeps it hot so the second cup tastes just as good as the first. What can compare to a good cup of old fashioned percolated coffee. This Farberware pot does just that and fast too. By all means get one.
